Compassionate, Creative Support for Your Child and Family

Childhood isn’t always carefree—especially for neurodivergent kids. Children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, or anxiety may struggle with daily routines and peer connection. Following multi-step directions, playing with a sibling, or even just putting on shoes can challenge their frustration tolerance and impulse control. Kids with trauma history, attachment issues, or a sensitized nervous system can face frequent emotional overwhelm. Transitions are tough; meltdowns, inevitable.
Whether on the spectrum, nonbinary, or just their own special flavor of “quirky,” every child deserves support that honors their unique wiring and builds confidence, connection, and resilience.

HOME-BASED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY & PARENT COACHING

We believe that connection is at the heart of growth! Our home-based occupational therapy services offer support to children and families right in the places that shape their everyday lives: home, school, and community settings.

We use a relationship-centered approach to strengthen the connections that matter most, whether among a child’s developmental skills, between children and their caregivers, or between families and the community resources that can best support them.

We work with children of all ages across all areas of daily life—self-care, play, social-emotional skills, cognitive development, and family routines—while empowering parents with practical coaching and guidance.

Feeding is a core specialty for our team! Our clinicians have extensive training in multiple feeding interventions and address numerous related skill areas to support this essential task.

We also offer specialized listening therapies: The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), based on polyvagal theory, and Therapeutic Listening, based in a developmental and sensory integration perspective.  These are powerful complementary modalities that can gently shift a child’s nervous system toward safety and engagement – making it easier to grow, connect, and thrive.

As always, connecting with you, your child’s primary caregiver, is always central to our approach. Through play, presence, and partnership, we help children grow in ways that are meaningful, sustainable, and rooted in real life.

SKILLS-BUILDING SOCIAL GROUPS

Throughout the year, Connected Therapy offers nature-based, “play-forward” occupational therapy groups that invite children to explore, connect, and grow in tune with the rhythms of the natural world.

We offer a neurodivergent-affirming group experience designed to meet children’s sensory needs, celebrate their individuality, and support their social-emotional growth.
