Autism Level Up focuses on tools, resources, and advocacy for the autistic community. They have a fantastic website where you can find one of their most useful tools: The Energy Meter. In the menu at the top of the page, click “tools,” then “energy” to get to the basic edition. Click “meters” to find a themed version your kid might like - Minecraft, superheroes, animals, dragons, so many!
Robyn Gobbel is a therapist turned educator, author, and podcaster whose work focuses on support for parents of kids with vulnerable nervous systems and “baffling behaviors.” Look at the “free resources” tab on her website to access her many free downloads. Her book (Raising Kids with Big, Baffling Behaviors: Brain-Body-Sensory Strategies That Really Work) simplifies the brain science behind challenging behaviors – your child’s and your own.
