Jessica, mother of a 7-year old

Holly is a dedicated and gifted occupational therapist. She took the time to get to really get to know and understand our son, and kept us as parents informed and motivated. It was clear that she genuinely cared about the well-being of our son, and took the whole family into consideration with her realistic solutions. She is a great listener, empathetic, and really makes you feel heard. Our son looked forward to his sessions with her, and still asks for her! I can’t say enough positive things about her. She truly changed our lives.

Carmel, mother of 1-year old

Holly and Connected Therapy was an essential addition to my son’s eating development.  Right off the bat she put me at ease as she worked with Callum to progress his chewing and swallowing skills.  She reduced the time he spent gagging and/or choking by improving his oral motor skills through sensory input, corrective strategies, and play.  As we live outside the local area, Holly coordinated an eval site in the community and followed up with care by joining Callum in his familiar daycare setting and also worked through a couple videos I recorded at home.  Through her knowledge, tools, and holistic approach to oral motor skills being tied to gross motor skills, Callum is now chewing and swallowing, effectively, everything he can get his hands on regardless of the texture or consistency!

We’re looking forward to celebrating his first birthday at the end of the month without the concern of his ability to eat his cake!

Thank you, Holly!

Eliza, mother of a 3-year old

Holly’s expertise in trauma-informed occupational therapy was a game-changer for our family, especially for our almost 2-year-old son, who faced immense challenges following months of family and medical trauma. Initially unfamiliar with this approach, I am now a staunch advocate, thanks to Holly’s remarkable impact. She adeptly identified and addressed his anxiety using the safe and sound protocol, significantly easing his nervous system. Her interventions, which included social stories tailored to our life’s significant events, not only became our son’s favorite books but also equipped him with essential social skills and coping mechanisms. Holly’s year-long journey with us transformed our son’s life, aiding his development in sleep, social interaction, and storytelling in ways that were both effective and age-appropriate. Holly’s dedication and skill in helping our son reclaim his narrative and find new ways to cope has been nothing short of miraculous.
